- Crayola Acrylic Paint
 - Pencil
 - Disposable Plate
 - Ribbon
 - Crayola Paint Brush
 - Wooden Spoon
 - Ruler
 
CIY Staff Tips:
- A spoon with a flat handle works best for this project!
 - Getting more than a few inches? Attach the Snowman Snow Ruler to a yard stick.
 
Steps:

Cover spoon in white paint. Dry 1–2 hours. Add second coat of paint. Dry 1–2 hours.

Use ruler and pencil to mark 1” increments on spoon handle.

Paint facial features on bowl of spoon

Paint over pencil measurements. Let all paint steps dry 1–2 hours.

Tie ribbon around neck of spoon.
6

Place in the snow to measure how much has accumulated!
