Children explore what happens when they paint with watercolour on paper that has some pieces of tape stuck to it, and then sprinkle salt over it.

Supplies:

  • Watercolour Paints
  • Crayola Marker and Watercolour Paper
  • Painters Tape
  • Water Containers
  • salt
 

Steps:

Step 1
  1. Stick painter's tape on the paper.

Step 2
  1. Fill the whole paper with different colours of watercolour paint.

  1. Gently remove the tape.

Step 4
  1. Sprinkle some salt onto the paint while it is still wet.

Step 5
  1. Brush away the salt when the paint is dry.
