Flip paper plate upside-down and paint. Dry 1–2 hours. Add second coat. Dry 1–2 hours.

Flip paper plate right-side up. Fold sides of plate inward and angled. Glue to secure.

Fold top of paper plate down. Glue to secure.

Sketch and cut out construction paper beak, feet, and eyes. Glue to plate.

Cut out cardstock skirt and glue to plate. Let all glue steps dry 1–2 hours.

Cut small slits in skirt to create fringe.
