Supplies:

  • Crayola Watercolours
  • Warm Water
  • Ice Cube Tray
  • Crayola Scissors
  • Craft Sticks
  • Cardstock

Steps:

Place watercolor tablet in 2 oz warm water and mix with craft stick to dissolve.

Pour mixture into ice cube tray.

Repeat steps 1–2 for as many colours as you’d like.

With the help of an adult, cut craft stick in half.

Place craft stick cut-side-down into cube section.

Repeat steps 4–5 until each cube has a craft stick.

Freeze tray 5–6 hours. When cubes are frozen, gently remove from ice cube tray.

Use frozen paint cubes on cardstock like paint brushes to create colourful patterns and pictures.
