Obstacle Course

Obstacle Course

  • 1.

With an adult, choose an outdoor paved area that is clean, safe, and free from traffic.

  • 2.

Determine a starting point for the course. With the Sidewalk Paint Sprayer, mark paths and various challenges along the route. Try a wavy path, or a series of circles to hop into, swirls to twist around in, and long lines on which to balance. Add as many challenges as you can to make the course interesting and fun!

  • 3.

Draw the finish line and a box to record names and times.

  • 4.

Players determine who will go first.

  • 5.

Take turns running the course as fast as possible. Winner is the player with the fastest time.

  • Players partner up for a real challenge. Partners stand back to back, link arms, and attempt the course without unlinking.
  • Embellish your course with a Crayola Super Brush. Or use Sidewalk Chalk and Chalk Tools like the Blender and Slip Grip. The possibilities are endless!
  • Large groups can play as teams. Draw two identical courses. The first team through wins. Create team uniforms by decorating T-shirts with Crayola Fabric Markers.
  • Play on skates or skate boards.
