Get ready to party! Make your own invitations, favors, and hats—all bursting with bright colors.
Create invitations. Write your birthday party invitation on Crayola Color Explosion™ paper using a color-reveal marker. Decorate the borders, too! If you wish, decorate the other side with a Crayola Marker. Fold your invitation to fit in an envelope.
Design party hats. On Color Explosion paper, draw a large half-circle for each hat. Use your imagination to make each hat look unique. Add friends’ names, confetti, balloons, or any party theme!
Use Crayola Scissors to cut out the hat. Fold the half circle so the flat sides meet to make a point. Tape the edges together.
Cut off the tip of the hat to leave a small hole at the top. Gather several pieces of ribbon and tie a knot at one end. Thread the loose ends through the hole. Keep the knot on the inside of hat.
Punch two holes near the bottom rim. Thread ribbon through each hole. Tape the ribbons together when your guests put on their hats.
Make party bags. Choose your party favors. Fold Color Explosion paper in half to make a pouch for the treats. Tape the two sides together. Leave the top open. Decorate your party bag however you want!
Punch two holes at the top of your bag close to the sides. Thread ribbon through the holes. Tie a festive bow. Have a great time at your party!
