Classroom Tissue Box Sleeve

Crawling Caterpillars craft

Create a novel tissue box sleeve for the classroom or home!

  • 1.

Use the sides of a tissue box to measure the size of the sleeve needed to go around the box. You will need two pieces to go all the way around the box. Cut out the two strips with Crayola® Scissors.

  • 2.

Choose the theme for the tissue box sleeve. The picture shown is of a whale and a dog. Use your imagination to choose what you want to make. Colour the strips with Crayola Crayons.

  • 3.

Wrap the coloured paper around the tissue box and glue the two pieces together with a Crayola Glue Stick. Note: Do not glue the paper to the tissue box. The sleeve can be removed when it’s time for a new box of tissues.

  • 4.

Draw, cut out and colour any additional pieces to be added to the sleeve. For example: a tail for the whale or ears and a bow for a dog. Attach the pieces to the sleeve with a Glue Stick.

  • 5.

Add finishing details to the sleeve with Power Lines Washable Markers with Scents.
