Turn your favourite thing into a backpack pal! Make one for yourself and give one to a friend.
Fold a piece of heavy white paper in half. Trace or draw an outline of an owl and cut out two pieces with Crayola® Scissors.
Use Crayola Coloured Pencils to color in the owl. Make it your own by using your favourite colours and creating cool designs.
Cut six pieces of coloured string about 8 inches (20 cm) long. Tie 3 pieces of coloured string to the bottom ring of the clasp. Then tie another 3 pieces to the bottom ring of the clasp. Trim the string at the clasp to simulate feathers.
Lay the coloured owls face down on a table. Lay the cords down the center of one owl with the clasp at the top. Spread school glue all over the owl with the string. Put the second owl on top and press together. Use 2 paper clips to hold it together until it dries.
Braid the coloured string hanging out of the bottom or just leave it hanging as fringe.
