What are the primary colors?

Primary colours include red, blue and yellow.

Primary colours cannot be mixed from other colours. They are the source of all other colours.

Secondary colours are mixed from two primary colours adjacent to each other on the coluor wheel.

The secondary colours are orange, green and violet.

For basic colour theory information, you may wish to reference the book Blue and Yellow Don’t Make Green by Michael Wilcox. The Internet or your local library are additional sources for colour theory or colour mixing information.
