Design your own dangling dragonflies! Use Color Explosion Spinner™ art and everyday household materials to create a colorful, whirling dragonfly mobile!
Decorate several Crayola Color Explosion Spinner™ papers. Start by making a dot on the paper with a color-reveal marker. Then follow the directions in the box.
Build your dragonfly’s body. With Crayola Scissors, cut a large circle from one decorated paper. Cut a straight line to the center of the circle. Fold the edges to make a cone. Glue the seam with Crayola School Glue. Cut out four wings and two eyes from the Spinner paper. Embellish them with the color-reveal marker if you wish. Glue the wings and eyes to the dragonfly body. Air-dry the glue.
Create a mobile base for hanging. Cover the inside and outside of a cardboard roll with more decorated Color Explosion paper. Glue it on. Add more pieces of decorated paper if you like for a 3-D effect. Air-dry the glue.
Assemble the mobile. Connect the base and dragonfly with ribbon. Add more ribbon to hang your creation. Display your new mobile and enjoy watching it whirl!
