Children gobble up the fun making these festive Model Magic® turkeys. Trot out these creations to use as centerpieces, name card holders, or holiday favors.
Using Crayola Model Magic, form a plump turkey body. Etch marks with a plastic knife to resemble feathers.
Roll out finger-shaped tubes of Model Magic. Attach these as feathers and the neck by pinching the modeling compound together.
Use Model Magic to form the head and attach it to the neck of the turkey.
Use yellow Model Magic to form the beak and feet and attach them to turkey. If you don't have yellow you can use any other color of Model Magic and then paint the beak and feet yellow after attaching them to the turkey.
Make a red wattle and attach.
Add two, small black dots for eyes.
You can make your turkey any color you want with paints or markers. Allow turkey to dry overnight before applying colors.
