Reuse empty, plastic water jugs and create spooky lanterns and add a frighteningly festive touch to your Halloween décor!
Ask an adult to help make a hole in the back of an upcycled plastic jug under the handle. It should be large enough to fit the battery pack of the string lights.
On the front of the jug, use Crayola SuperTips to outline a spooky, ghoulish face.
Fill in the design with black Crayola Acrylic Paint. Once the paint is dry, add a second coat of paint for full coverage.
When the second coat of paint has dried, outline your grinning ghoul with Crayola Glitter Glue. Let dry overnight.
Place your battery-operated lights inside the jug and turn them on to illuminate your spooky lantern.
