Children demonstrate their individuality by crafting personal finger puppets. They can write their own life story and act it out for the whole family!
Sculpt a finger puppet of yourself with Model Magic®. Shape your head first by wrapping a ball of Model Magic around your finger. If you want the sculpture to stand up, too, add shoulders to make a flat base.
Look into a mirror to help you sculpt your features. Notice the shape of your mouth, the curve of your eyebrows, the angle of your nose. Where are your ears located in relationship to your eyes and mouth?
While your sculpture is still moist, add hair with yarn cut to the right length for you with Crayola Scissors. Poke the yarn into the Model Magic with a toothpick. If the sculpture is already dry, glue on hair or accessories with Crayola School Glue.
Add details to your facial features, such as eyes and mouth, using Crayola Washable Markers or Washable Kid's Paint. Cover your work area with newspaper first. After the sculpture is dry, you're ready to face the fun!
