Brighten up your desk space with a colourful marbleized organizer using Crayola Acrylic Paint! Supplies You’ll Need: Crayola Acrylic Paint, Plastic Cups, Stir Sticks, 3 Sheets of White Uncoated Fabric, Aluminum Pan, Shaving Cream, Ruler, Embroidery Hoop
Mix the Crayola Acrylic Paint in the plastic cups to create two desired colours of paint.
Take each sheet of fabric and fold them in half.
Take the aluminum pan and fill the bottom of the pan with a layer of shaving cream.
Take one of the cups of Crayola Acrylic Paint and dollop it across the shaving cream in the pan.
Take a stir stick and swirl the paint around creating a marbleized pattern on to of the shaving cream.
Gently place a sheet of folded fabric on top of the paint and shaving cream. Carefully pat the fabric into the shaving cream and paint.
Carefully remove the fabric from the pan of shaving cream.
Take a ruler and quickly drag it across the fabric. This will remove the shaving cream and leave the marbleized paint pattern on the fabric.
Repeat steps 3 to 8 for the other pieces of fabric.
After the fabric is dry take an embroidery hoop and layer the folded pieces of fabric on top of each other over top of the inside hoop, cascading the sheets of fabric to create the pockets. Place the outside hoop overtop of the fabric and tighten.
