Paint a colorful Thanksgiving message, such as “Give Thanks,” in the middle a wrapped canvas using Crayola® Portfolio® Series Acrylic Paint.
Use real leaves or leaf templates found on the internet. Trace the leaves onto thin paper from a Crayola Doodle Pad or newsprint paper. Cut out the leaves with a Crayola Scissor.
Gather fallen leaves of different sizes and shapes. Carefully paint on side of a leaf, covering it completely.
Press the painted side of the leaf firmly on the wrapped canvas.
Peel up the leaf to reveal the imprint of the painted leaf.
Add a variety of leaves and colors to fill the border of the canvas and create a beautiful, festive painting! Allow to dry completely before displaying in your home.
