Create amazing Easter Egg designs using Crayola School Chalk and Watercolours!



Supplies Needed: Crayola Acrylic Paint, Crayola Paint Brushes, Crayola School Chalk, Crayola Crayons, Crayola Watercolours, Hard-boiled eggs*, Baking soda, Water


*This project requires adult assistance. Do not consume eggs after decorating. Crayola Paints, Crayons, and Chalk are art materials only (not food grade).

  • 1.

    Chalkboard Egg: Mix 2 Tbsp. of baking soda with 1 Tbsp. of water.

  • 2.

    Add 2 oz. Acrylic Paint and mix until smooth.

  • 3.

    Paint hard-boiled egg with baking soda and paint mixture. Let Dry.

  • 4.

    Decorate with School Chalk. To change your design, wipe chalk with water and create again!

  • 5.

    Water Resist Egg: Draw a designs and accents on hard-boiled egg with white crayon & then paint over crayon with watercolours to reveal your design!
